Terms of use
These working terms describe the intended marketplace rules. They should be reviewed and completed with the operating company’s legal name, address, and applicable jurisdiction before commercial launch.
Platform role
Tools by Honest operates a moderated seller directory and communication platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not the seller, payment processor, escrow provider, or contracting party in transactions between customers and sellers.
Accounts
Users must provide accurate information, protect access to their accounts, and use the platform lawfully. Abuse, impersonation, harassment, spam, and attempts to bypass security are prohibited.
Seller listings
Seller applications require admin approval. Sellers remain responsible for their offers, authorization, fulfilment, support, pricing, taxes, cancellations, and refunds. Approval can be suspended or withdrawn.
Reports and warnings
Reports must be truthful and evidence-based. The admin reviews submissions and decides whether to reject them, take action against a profile, or publish a warning. Public summaries may be edited to protect private data and describe only reviewed findings.
Prohibited services
Stolen accounts, cracked software, shared passwords, credential resale, fraud, deceptive offers, and services intended to violate a third party’s rules are prohibited.
